Silly School Education: we make learning catchy, colourful and hard to forget.
We create songs, animated videos and ready-to-use resources across phonics, grammar, maths, geography, science and vocabulary — useful classroom content that children enjoy, teachers trust, and learning sticks.

Where it all began
It started with a teacher, a musician and one silly song.
Trisha had spent more than twenty years in primary classrooms. As a deputy head and Year 5/6 teacher, she knew exactly what made children sit up, listen and remember — and she was tired of resources that did none of those things.
So she turned to her husband, Alex, a musician and animator who could turn almost anything into a catchy tune, and asked: could you write something better? He did. Just for fun.
The songs were silly, joyful and impossible to forget. And the children loved them.
From one classroom to the world
A song made for one school slowly found classrooms around the world.
When schools closed in 2020, the need for engaging, screen-friendly learning became urgent overnight. So that June, Alex uploaded a single animated song — about pronouns — to YouTube, mainly for the children at Trisha’s school.
For months, it was just their class watching. Then one day Alex spotted a viewer in Nepal. Then more.
Month after month, teachers around the world were discovering the songs and pressing play in their own classrooms.
What began as one classroom song is now watched by children and teachers in countries all over the world.

What we stand for
Made by teachers, for teachers.
Everything we create comes back to one belief: learning should be fun, and teaching shouldn’t be exhausting. We’re still a small, family-run company in Cambridge — just Alex and Trisha, writing, composing and animating every song from scratch. Because Trisha still teaches, every resource is designed with real classrooms in mind and aligned to the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
Phonics, maths, grammar, science, geography and more — many videos come with matching worksheets, posters and printables, ready to drop straight into your lesson. No ads. No filler. Just content children remember and teachers trust.

Recognition
A little company in some big rooms.
We never set out to be more than a helpful resource for one school. But the silly songs have taken us further than we ever imagined — onto a panel at the Children’s Media Conference, to YouTube Kids’ 10th-anniversary celebration in New York, into the BBC, YouTube and National Film & Television School’s Create x Connect programme, to the House of Lords for Parliament’s first inquiry into how creator-led content shapes children’s learning, and to the DCMS for a roundtable discussion with the Minister.
We’re proud of all of it. But mostly, we’re proud that somewhere right now, a class of children is laughing, singing and learning something they’ll never forget.
Come and be silly with us.
Whether you need a fresh idea for tomorrow’s lesson or a whole library to lighten your week, we’d love to have you.
